Featured Kentucky author in the Boozy Book Fair at Darkness Brewing in Bellevue, Kentucky and joined fellow Kentucky writers for featured readings during the community-centered event, which combined literature, storytelling, and local advocacy while celebrating Kentucky’s diverse creative voices.

Served as a guest speaker for the Northern Kentucky Accountability Group (NKYAG) at the Kenton County Public Library, presenting ideas from his book MINDSHIFT.

As a recipient of an ArtsWave Inspire Artist Grant, Simpson presented new creative work alongside artists working across film, music, poetry, performance, visual art, fashion, and storytelling.
